See our calendar for hours, events and more. The Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) links the Will W. Alexander Library to libraries throughout the United States for interlibrary loan shared cateloging and shared collections (e-Books). The library is a member of the Louisiana Library Network (LOUIS). The library provides electronic access to over 8,000 full-text journals and abstracts through Pro-Quest, EBSCOhost and Journal Storage (JSTOR). The Will W. Alexander archives include first edition works of African-American writers such as Langston Hughes, Countee Cullen and Frederick Douglass; papers and minutes of the AMA Church, and other historical documents pertaining to the history of Gilbert Academy, Straight College, New Orleans University and Dillard University. |
