Student Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Majors will demonstrate familiarity with the major sociological, and/or criminological, and/or social work theories and concepts
- Majors will demonstrate their ability to use statistics to interpret sociological, and/or criminological, and/or social work data and verbalize their meanings using the language of sociology, criminological, and/or social work
- Majors will be able to write a research paper that will reflect a thorough understanding of sociological, and/or criminological, and/or social work theory and research methodology
- Majors will demonstrate their communicative skills by presenting their research to an audience of social sciences faculty and students
