Dillard University Board of Trustees member Herschel Abbott Jr. was recognized by St. Charles Avenue magazine for his contributions to various organizations, including Dillard University. Named one of New Orleans' Activists of the Year 2012, Abbott was honored for his work to enrich the City of New Orleans.
