Dillard University has prepared a Hazard Mitigation Plan under the Hazard Mitigation Plan Grant. In the event of any future hazard experienced by the University, this plan will allow the University to receive federal assistance from FEMA directly, in lieu of going through the state. This plan also outlines the processes and procedures used in developing this plan as well as a list of “Act Items” that the University can initiate to make our campus more resilient to any future hazardous events. We welcome our staff, students, and community to review the plan and provide any comments that you may have. All comments should be directed to Keith McKendall,
", Dillard University’s Assistant Vice President of Facilities. The review period of this document will be for one week (September 6 to 13, 2013). All comments should be submitted by 4:00pm on September 16, 2013.
