The Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2010 took place on Saturday, May 8, at 8 a.m. on the Avenue of the Oaks. Author, educator and poet Nikki Giovanni gave the Commencement Address.

Dillard University's 2010 Scholarship Benefit Concert, "Timeless Voices," was held on Thursday, May 6, at 8 p.m. on the Avenue of the Oaks.

Dillard University's 2010 Alumni Reunion took place May 6th-9th.
