Professor Baucum received his M.B.A. from Loyola University and his B.A. from Louisiana State University.  

Research Interests

His research interests includes casino operations in the New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast areas.

Professional Accomplishments

Richard P. Baucum joined the faculty 24 years ago as an assistant professor in the Department of Accounting. Currently, he holds the title of associate professor and chairperson of Accounting. He is also a certified public accountant.

Hobbies -I enjoy playing tennis, reading and traveling
