Dillard University will host the Bleu Devil Classic, its annual basketball doubleheader versus crosstown rival Xavier, on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011. The games will take place in Dent Hall Gymnasium on the Dillard campus. The Lady Bleu Devils will take on the Gold Nuggets at 5 p.m., and the men's game will follow at 7 p.m. The games will be preceded by a party in Kabacoff Plaza featuring refreshments, music and entertainment.

Tickets go on sale in the Dillard University cashier's office in Rosenwald Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 18. The cashier's hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $15 and student tickets are $10. VIP seating (pictured) is $25.

The night before the game, Dillard will honor Bleu Devil coaching legends John Brown and the late Mary D. Teamer at the Third Annual Billy Ray Hobley Gala. All proceeds will go to the Billy Ray Hobley Scholarship Fund to benefit Dillard students. Make it a Bleu Devil Weekend and Bleed Bleu!
