    Dillard alumnus and recent Champions of the American Dream recipient Preston J. Edwards Sr. has announced he will publish his last print edition of The Black Collegian. Created in 1970, the magazine provided college students with information on opportunities that have allowed them to navigate the corporate world from entry-level opportunities, to exploring ways to advance to top levels in their careers.

    Board of Trustee Chairwoman Joyce Roche talks about the challenges facing HBCUs and other educational institutions in an article in Education News. Roche was a co-facilitator at one of several workshops including "Governance Challenges Confronting HBCU Boards and Presidents: Financial Stress, Competition and Mission Relevance” at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges' annual meeting.
