The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation to Move From Dillard |

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's School of Music, currently at Dillard University, is expected to move from the university campus to a newly-renovated facility. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2014, architect firm Eskew+Dumez+Ripple will make a historic two-story structure in the Treme neighborhood a permanent home for the Heritage School of Music.

Dillard Hosts Coast Guard Industry Day |

As part of NOLA Navy Week, Dillard University will play host to the U.S. Coast Guard for their "Industry Day" on Friday, April 13, 2012. Held in Georges Auditorium, the morning event will have different mariners and marine sector representatives speak about various issues including those of safety, security and vessel inspection processes. The event is free and open to the public and the Dillard community.
