Job Description

Dillard University, classified by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education as a balanced arts and sciences/professions institution, located in the culturally rich and diverse city of New Orleans, Louisiana, invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting in the School of Accounting & Financial Economics for a tenure-track faculty position in Spring 2014.

Job Requirements:
Dillard University‚Äôs School of Accounting & Financial Economics invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the assistant or associate professor level to begin January 2014. Candidates at the assistant professor level should have high research potential and an earned doctorate in accounting.  Candidates at the associate professor level should possess an earned doctorate; demonstrate excellence in teaching, and a track record of quality research and publication.

Qualifications The successful candidate is expected to engage in research, teach accounting courses, publish in reputable academic journals, advise students and engage in public service. The successful candidate should also collaborate with other faculty members in the School of Accounting & Financial Economics and College of Business.
