Job Description Position Overview:
Maintain university premises in clean and orderly manner by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Functions:

Move and arrange furniture
Turn mattresses
Hang draperies
Dust Venetian Blinds
Polish metalwork
Prepare sample rooms for sales meetings.
Arrange decorations, apparatus, or furniture for banquets and social functions.
Collect soiled linens for laundering, and receive and store linen supplies in linen closet.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and empty and clean ashtrays. Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
Deliver television sets, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guest rooms.
Clean swimming pool with vacuum.
Clean and remove debris from driveway and garage areas.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education/Experience:

GED or high school diploma; minimum 6 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Supervision:

No supervisory responsibilities.
