Director Spike Lee Connects with Dillard Students Print

Spike Lee

Dillard University is increasingly becoming part of what is known as "Hollywood South". With movie location shoots and student participation, Fair Dillard and it's students are part of the movie making process. Most noteably to use Dillard in this capacity is director Spike Lee.  Lee has involved students in the production of his latest film "Old Boy", including location scouting, and intern opportunities in every aspect of the movie. Students are also involved in helping to keep the set closed, with photos and tweets forbidden.
