Dillard University marketing students had the unique opportunity to take a class outside of the campus. Under the leadership of Dillard professor Dr. Richard Igwike, the students visited the Historic Customs House on Canal Street to learn about trade in the New Orleans area. Import Specialist Lisa R. Jackson and Agriculture Specialist Terenza Swims spoke with the class about their official duties to enable the students to become more of aware of what U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) does.
