After graduating with a doctorate degree in Mathematics and Physics from a leading European university, “St Petersburg State University”, Dr. Mustapha took classes at London School of Economics where he greatly enjoyed economics and finance and decided to come to the US to pursue a doctorate degree in financial economics while teaching mathematics.Dr. Mustapha earned his Ph.D. in mathematics and physics. He also holds two M.S. degrees from the University of New Orleans, one in statistics and the other in finance. His current research interests are in the areas of financial institutions and international finance. Dr. Mustapha’s area of research is banking and financial institutions. He frequently attends international conferences in Economics and finance where he presents his research. Professional Accomplishments Nazar Mustapha joined the faculty in August 2007 as an instructor in the Department of Economics and Finance.He is currently an ABD in Financial Economics. Presently, he is finishing up a second Ph.D. in financial economics. Dr. Mustapha has numerous publications in refereed journals.
