Education Dr. Cooper received her Ph.D. in marketing from Michigan State University, herĀ M.B.A. from Atlanta University and her B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois. Research Interests Her primary areas of research include brand building in Ghana, and social responsibility in the supply chain, specifically minority supplier and fair trade issues. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Cooper worked as a replenishment buyer for Sears catalog and Reliable Office Supply. Professional Accomplishments Dr. Alicia D. Cooper is an assistant professor of marketing in the Division of Business at Dillard University. Prior to joining Dillard, she served on the faculties of Bowie State and Morgan State universities in Maryland, and as a visiting professor at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in Ghana. |
