Dillard University’s modest endowment is a key source of annual income that provides a perpetual and solid foundation for the university’s annual operation, scholarships and critical programs. This unrestricted endowment allows for flexibility that enables the President and senior cabinet to address the university’s greatest changing needs in years to come.

Examples of how the money will enhance scholarship and strengthen and sustain Dillard include adding to our library collection, securing the latest technology and recruiting⎯and keeping⎯bright students. It also will help us to promote high-quality service initiatives that will help us to revitalize our Gentilly community.
