To sustain a competitive advantage and provide our students with a world-class education, Dillard must provide cutting-edge technological innovations, multi-media instruction, access to academic and research computing and informational resources in all disciplines. We have no choice. This presents us with tremendous opportunities–and challenges.

Our vision is to transform the newly rededicated Alexander Library into a hub for intellectual pursuits undergirded by technological informational resources. Our library must be equipped with the latest technology and computer work stations for group and individual learning. Informational technology that enhances access, acquisitions and collections must be installed.

Our goal of $5 million to endow and directly support technology and library enhancements will enable Dillard to maintain a technology infrastructure that will allow faculty to effectively teach and perform research and prepare students for both a graduate education and the job market.
