Dillard University would like to thank those who attended one or both of the school's recent dedication ceremonies. Your support helped make these nights great successes for all those involved. On Nov. 11, 2010, Dillard University dedicated its new Mock Trial Center in honor of Justice Revius O. Ortique Jr., a Dillard alum and the first African American elected to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Louisiana Supreme Court. At the dedication, United States Attorney General Eric Holder gave the Inaugural Revius O. Ortique Lecture On Law and Society. For more information on the event, please click here. On Nov. 18, 2010, Dillard University dedicated the auditorium in the new Professional Schools and Sciences Building in honor of John and Dathel Georges, local philanthropists and friends of the university. At the dedication, actor Wendell Pierce (HBO's "Treme") gave an address. For more information on the event, please click here.
