Dillard University's annual Honors Convocation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 3 p.m. in Lawless Memorial Chapel. Those Dillard students who achieved exceptional academic marks this year will be recognized for their inclusion on the Dean's List and Honor Roll. The Dillard University Choir will also perform.

The keynote speaker will be poet Brenda Marie Osbey (pictured), a Dillard University alumna from the class of 1978. Osbey serves as a professional-in-residence at Louisiana State University. She was the first peer-selected poet laureate of the state of Louisiana (2005-07).
