A Message from the Vice President for Student Success The Division of Student Success provides support for all students to enable them to successfully meet their personal, academic and professional objectives throughout their college experience. Our mission is to improve the quality of student life and education. The division houses 10 administrative units, each providing the necessary services required to ensure that student success is attainable. The units include Enrollment Management, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Student Support Services, Upward Bound, Educational Talent Search, Career and Professional Development, Records and Registration, Center for Student Performance, University Chapel, and Vision Quest. Our core value is to recruit and retain students with strong academic, personal, and social skills and to support those students by providing financial services, and academic and career assistance. By our definition, a “successful student” is one who graduates from Dillard University fully equipped to be a strong citizen and future leader in graduate school or the world of work. At Dillard University, student success is everyone's business. Office of Enrollment Management The Value of a Dillard Education As a private institution, we know prospective students and their families must pay close attention to the investment they make in higher education. As one of America's HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities), we are proud to offer a distinct opportunity to our students. Let the words of our students and faculty show you the opportunities that Dillard offers. The Opportunity to... Conduct research with faculty as undergraduate students. Abdalla Darwish Experience diversity in the context of an HBCU. Gail Bowman Hit the ground running. Kael Saloy Join a community that cares deeply about your success. Kiki Baker Barnes “It’s a very one-on-on based experience. You get to know your faculty. You get to know your mentors, your advisors, your administrators. You see them in the cafeteria. They eat with you, they talk with you outside of class, outside of the administrative building and that sort of personal connection makes it easier for you… especially for an international student.” Timothy James Shankar Ramnerine Here is your opportunity
