The Office of Human Research (OHR) is sponsored by the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and managed by the IRB Administrator. The OHR works with investigators to ensure the protection of research participants. By providing administrative support, the staff facilitate the Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes for non-medical research. Staff also provide consultation and interpretation of regulations governing research involving humans; serve as a resource for prospective, current, and past research participants; receives reports of alleged misconduct or concerns about human subjects research activities; provides educational programs for investigators involved in human subjects research; and is responsible for continuous monitoring of human subjects research activities.

The OHR is located within the suite of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. The OHR is accessible Monday-Friday. Please contact the IRB Administrator for inquiries.
