Today, come and Celebrate Black Creole Culture at Dillard University. First, it's the premiere of Bleu Orleans, a film that has been a part of a three-year project about the wealth of culture in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans and how Dillard University has impacted it. The documentary starts at 2p.m., in Georges Auditorium and that's followed by Kevin Dunn, a Dillard University employee, folk artist, a tradition Bearer, who creates elaborate sashes and fans of gathered ribboning and sewing for Social & Pleasure Clubs. Dunn will be honored at 4p.m., for his 30 plus years of contributions to New Orleans Culture.
