Every year alumni, parents, and friends support Dillard through The Fair Dillard Fund. These unrestricted gifts support current operations and are critical in meeting the day-to-day needs of the University. Every dollar helps to support students, faculty members, and programs on campus by giving the President the ability to respond to the everchanging needs of the University.

Dillard University's (DU) computer science and business majors are preparing to change the world with your help. Our students are embarking on two events this year -- the HBCU Battle of the Brains and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Convention. The Political Sciences, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Urban Studies and Public Policy major departments strive to teach, critical think, strengthen writing skills and commit to social justice while empowering communities. Students will be allowed to gain new experiences annually through the Study Aboard Program, local field trips to prisons, student's research day and more!!

The Dillard University Ray Charles Program in African American Material Culture mission is to research, document, disseminate and preserve the culinary patrimony and material culture of African Americans in New Orleans and the South. The Dillard University Center for Law and Public Interest Pre-Law Program is designed to prepare undergraduate students for careers in law and to contribute to the larger societal goal of diversifying the legal profession. Our goal is simple: to become the nation's premier undergraduate institution for producing African American attorneys. With an intensive co-curricular program tailored to enhance the in-class experience, committed students leave Dillard University prepared to enter law school.

Scholarships provide opportunities for top-tier students to attend Dillard, attracts a diverse student body of deserving students and is based on need and academic criteria. As the cost of providing a world-class education continues to rise, and as federal dollars shrink, scholarship support has become more vital than ever.
Gifts to the Religious Life Fund help to further Dillard’s moral and ethical ideals, the foundation on which the University stands. These gifts help promote our campus ministry and community outreach initiatives. Dillard University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ.
Gifts to the Bleu Devil Athletics Fund are used by the athletic director to fund scholarships for student-athletes, purchase uniforms for Bleu Devil teams, and support athletic facilities and equipment improvements.
The SAFE Fund contributes emergency funding assistance to retain Dillard students who might otherwise be forced to forfeit attending school due to short term financial hardships. This fund was established to give vital assistance to at-risk students who, through no fault of their own, cannot afford some or all of their books, fees, housing or are unexpectedly confronted with a financial emergency.
Gifts to the Will W. Alexander Library ensures that we can continue to provide the highest quality learning tools and information to enhance the educational experience of our Dillard family. The Will W. Alexander Library welcomes you as a patron!
These funds are used for general landscaping, maintenance, preservation and beauty enhancements of our buildings and lawns. In addition, funds will be used to maintain, save or replace (if necessary) our historic oak trees.
