Perkins and Nursing Loan Exit Counseling

If you received a Federal Perkins and/or Nursing Loan, you are required to complete an exit interview. The exit interview informs you of your rights and responsibilities as a borrower, and it also summarizes the information contained in your Perkins promissory note. This information is designed to help prepare you for repaymet of your loan(s).

Borrowers must complete the online counseling session with Heartland ECSI.

In addition, exit counseling summarizes information contained in your Perkins and/or Nursing Promissory Note such as repayment, deferment and cancellation privileges.
