About Student Support Services

Dillard University's Student Success Services is a federally funded program and has received continuous funding through the Department of Education since 1976. 

Student Support Services program helps students adjust to college life by providing academic and counseling support services to students. The purpose of SSS at Dillard University is to provide free opportunities for academic developments, assist students with basic college requirements, and motivate students towards the successful completion of their postsecondary education.

The goal of SSS is to increase the academic achievement, college retention, and graduation rates of its participants and facilitate the process of transitioning from one level of higher education to the next.
