Free summer STEM enrichment program for middle school students

Every student deserves access to a better future. That’s why we’ve launched the Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers program – an engaging, hands-on program developed to enrich learning through design thinking, 3D printing, augmented reality, social entrepreneurship and mentorship.

 

This program creates a more diverse pipeline for future careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields; no prior knowledge or experience is required.

 

Two three-week Verizon summer camps with 75 students (male and female, grades 6-8) per camp, for a total of 150 students.

June 5-July 15, 2023; 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

 

Where?

Dillard University

Professional Schools & Sciences Building

 

Program will take place in person.

 

Lunch will be provided.

 

Hands-on and interactive program, with field trips and mentoring.

 

Available to students who otherwise do not have access to these types of programs. 

 

Program is inclusive and welcomes all genders and non-binary youth.

 

Transportation will be provided in varying locations

 

Program developed in partnership with the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship and Arizona State University.
