Admission to the professional component of the nursing program be the following steps.
Dillard University’s Nursing Program admission process is competitive and based on a selective review of applicants who meet the minimum admission requirements. Qualified applicants are evaluated using the Nursing Admission Criteria Scoring Grid, and ranked by the Admissions, Progression and Retention Committee. Admission decisions are communicated by mail. Students whose GPA and application score fall within the number of available seats are provisionally admitted, pending verification of prerequisite coursework completion and continued GPA eligibility. In the event of a tie in final scores, overall GPA will be used to determine student ranking for admission into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
