As a follow up to PLA’s March 2020 Public Libraries Respond to COVID-19 Survey, a new American Library Association (ALA) survey of U.S. libraries documents a shift in services to support students, faculty, and communities at large during the crisis and phased preparations for the months ahead. More than 3,800 K-12 school, college and university, public, and other libraries from all 50 states responded to the survey between May 12–18, 2020.

This event spotlights the authors of two rare chapbooks, part of our ongoing Chapbooks of the Mimeo Revolution digitization project: Diane Burns and Bob Kaufman. Poet, musician, and Managing Director of the Poetry Project Nicole Wallace will present on Chemehuevi and Anishinaabe poet Diane Burns, and scholar and educator Dr. Mona Lisa Saloy will present on Beat poet Bob Kaufman.

The EBSCOHOST Research Databases are provided by LOUIS, a consortium of public and private college and university libraries in the state of Louisiana. This partnership was formed in 1992 by the library deans and directors at these institutions, in order to create a cost-effective collaboration among the institutions for the procurement of library technology and resources. LOUIS is governed by the LOUIS Management Board and the Louisiana Board of Regents.
