Dorian Williams is a native of Brookhaven, MS with a strong belief in the value of educating the
next generation of global leaders in Business, especially those from HBCUs. Dr. Williams
currently serves as the Dean of the College of Business and is responsible for developing
innovative ways to enhance the academic experience for students by preparing them for the
emerging global business market. He is a member of numerous organizations such as the
American Economic Association and the Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists where
he served as the 2024-2025 President. In this capacity, he is responsible for the continued
promotion of scholarly research in areas that affect minorities as well as encouraging
participation amongst students and professionals within the areas of social and behavioral
science.
