The Dillard University Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) Team represents the University in the nationally recognized Honda Campus All-Star Challenge, an academic quiz competition designed to celebrate scholarship, teamwork, and critical thinking among students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
HCASC provides students with a competitive, intellectually rigorous experience that complements their academic coursework while fostering leadership development, collaboration, and school pride.
The Honda Campus All-Star Challenge is a fast-paced, team-based academic competition that tests students’ knowledge across a wide range of disciplines, including:

Teams compete in regional tournaments for the opportunity to advance to the National Championship Tournament, where top HBCUs from across the country showcase academic excellence on a national stage.
The Dillard HCASC Team is composed of motivated students who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, quick reasoning, and a commitment to teamwork. Team members represent Dillard University with integrity, professionalism, and pride.

The 2025-2026 team is made up of Bishop Seabrook (captain), Kira Myers, Praise Akodu, and Johari Smith. They are coached by Dr. Kimberly Moorehead. HCASC experience reinforces Dillard University’s commitment to holistic student development and academic excellence beyond the classroom. Through structured practice sessions and tournament participation, the HCASC program contributes to student engagement, retention, and leadership development.
Students interested in joining the Dillard University HCASC Team are encouraged to demonstrate strong academic performance, a love of learning, and a willingness to engage in competitive, team-based scholarship.
