Dillard University proudly congratulates two of our distinguished alumni, Ms. Daphney Young ’93 and Dr. Warren Jones ’71, on their induction into the 2025 National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame.
Ms. Young is being honored for her outstanding contributions in Community Service, and Dr. Jones is being recognized for his impact in the field of Medicine. Their accomplishments reflect the highest ideals of excellence, service, and leadership that embody the Dillard University spirit.
Ms. Young and Dr. Jones will be formally inducted during the 40th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon accepting this honor, they will join a distinguished list of more than 350 Hall of Famers, who have been enshrined in the Hall of Fame since its founding in 1986.
We celebrate their achievements as trailblazers and thank them for their continued dedication to uplifting communities and advancing their professions. The Dillard University community is deeply proud to call them part of our legacy. Congratulations, Ms. Young and Dr. Jones!
