Dillard University proudly congratulates Dr. Kim Vaz-Deville, Chief of Staff, on being awarded the Ordre des Palmes académiques, one of the French Republic’s highest distinctions.
Dr. Vaz-Deville was honored alongside five extraordinary leaders for their outstanding contributions to culture, history, and education. The recognition was presented by Rodolphe Sambou, Consul General of France in New Orleans, who emphasized that their work in literature, art, education, and cultural preservation reflects the deep and enduring ties between France and Louisiana.
In addition to Dr. Vaz-Deville, the honorees included:
