To celebrate Women’s History Month, the Office of Communications and Marketing is featuring women at Dillard who are essential employees. These highly valuable employees are designated to carry out their job duties even when campus is closed to ensure that Dillard continues to operate and provide services for students.
Phyllis Fortune is affectionately known as “Ms P.” She is the University’s shuttle bus driver, but does much more. Ms. P also manages the logistics of loaner vehicle use and driver scheduling in addition to serving as the VIP driver for Dillard’s events. She also manages the University vehicles’ maintenance schedules while serving other functions in the Office of Auxiliary Services.
