Financial Aid Awareness Night

FAFSA Awareness Night

Students are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.  The Federal Government has started processing FAFSA forms that they have already received, and they are scheduled to begin sending the FAFSA results to schools starting this month (approximately mid-March).

If you have not already done so, and would like information about the new 2024-2025 FAFSA, or assistance completing the FAFSA, then join the Financial Aid Team and guest presenter on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the Student Union’s Ballroom.

All DU returning students must have a FAFSA on file by May 1, 2024.  DU Graduating Seniors – If you plan on attending Graduate School during the Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 semesters, then you will need to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA, and you only need to list the Graduate Schools of your choice.

FAFSA Awareness Night will provide you with an opportunity to complete your FAFSA, receive updated information regarding the new FAFSA and obtain scholarship information.

Financial Aid Professionals from Dillard University and Trellis Company will be providing important information to help you fund a college education. Financial Aid presentation begins at 6:00 p.m.

Financial Aid representatives will be available to help families complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA – To help expedite time, please create your account with Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov in advance. To receive FAFSA completion assistance, please have your 2022 financial data (income tax, W- 2s, etc.) available. FAFSA Completion times: 5 – 6 p.m. and 7 – 8 p.m.
