As a student in the School of Population and Health Sciences, your academic pursuits are YOUR and OUR main focus. The most crucial part of your education is your experience in activities inside and outside the classroom.
As a student, you will find so many ways to get involved in the life of the school—opportunities that enhance everything you will learn the classroom.
You can choose to live in a residence hall with other students who share a passion for public health and wellness or join a student organization like the Public Health Club or our chapter of the Health Science Clubs.
Building upon a legacy of excellence, our programs educate and train the public health leaders of tomorrow. Committed to being part of the solution? Ready to think broadly and act collaboratively in one of the most distinctive cities, New Orleans? Launch your future with the School of Population and Health Sciences.
College is an exciting time and a significant experience for many students. But for first-generation college students and others who are unfamiliar with the world of academia, it can also be confusing, stressful, and difficult to navigate. At Dillard University, we seek to help students of all backgrounds successfully enter and exit our school with a bachelor’s degree.
Dillard’s Evening and Weekend Studies Program caters to the non-traditional student and offers courses either online or via hybrid instruction. We work collaboratively with other departments to assist students with everything from choosing Dillard to completing the application process, registering for classes, securing scholarships and other financial aid, gaining financial literacy, requesting a transcript, and more.
