Dillard University is dedicating to providing our students with the resources and support they need to succeed. From mental, physical, and spiritual health to academic support, professional development, and much more, we’re here to help.

Our goal is to instill confidence in our students by providing support that promotes student success. We offer academic tutoring in a variety of subjects as well as academic, personal, career, graduate school, and financial counseling.

Single-purpose nonprofit Student Freedom Initiative offers Dillard University students tutoring, mentoring, and opportunities for paid professional internships. The program also offers an income-based funding alternative for qualified junior and senior STEM majors.

At Dillard, counseling goes far beyond just academic guidance. We ensure that every student is offered the support they need to be successful. Whether you’re seeking career guidance, social service referrals, or counseling, we’re here to help.

It’s never too early to begin preparing for life after graduation. Take advantage of our career advising, career education, networking opportunities, and internships with industry professionals.

The Center for Student Engagement and Leadership creates a vibrant co-curricular experience by coordinating educational, social, and cultural programs to foster experiences which develop students and student leaders as agents-of-change in a global society.

Currently enrolled students can receive primary and urgent care services from the Student Health and Wellness Center.

Dillard University’s picturesque campus is located in the heart of the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans. The University’s campus setting strives to create an academic climate conducive to the pursuit of scholarship and the development of character.

Located in Lawless Chapel, the Office of the University Chaplain coordinates every aspect of religious life on campus. Dillard University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ.
