2026 Health Summit Elevates Youth Voices to Build a Healthier Louisiana

The 2026 Health Summit returns to continue working toward the bold vision of improving health outcomes and the quality of life for Louisiana children and families over the next decade.  This year, the summit will center the voices and perspectives of young people across Louisiana, recognizing their vital role in shaping healthier communities. By bringing together youth and experienced leaders, the summit will foster meaningful dialogue, inspire shared learning, and explore innovative solutions to the evolving challenges that impact the health and well-being of our state.

The collective goal is for Louisiana to rank 40th in health outcomes by the year 2030. Reaching this milestone will require investing in young leaders today, creating opportunities for them to collaborate across generations, engage in civic life, and help build a more equitable and healthier future for all Louisianans. The summit sessions will focus on:

● Elevating Youth Leadership
