Dear Dillard Family,
We are pleased to announce that Dillard University will receive a one-time supplemental award of $1,537,401 under the federal Title III, Part F Strengthening Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Program. The award covers year two (2026) of the 2025-2030 grant cycle.
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has awarded this one-time supplemental funding to the University under Title III, Part F, Section 371 of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Lodriguez Murray and the UNCF leadership for their tireless efforts to secure this support for UNCF and Thurgood Marshall College Fund member schools. Their advocacy has made a meaningful difference for our institution and for HBCUs across the nation.
This investment reflects the continued federal commitment to the vital role HBCUs play in educating students and strengthening communities. We look forward to putting these funds to work in support of our students, faculty, and mission.
