Dear Dillard University Faculty, Staff, and Students,
Out of an abundance of caution and in response to the anticipated impact of Tropical Storm Bertha on our area, Dillard University will suspend all in-person campus operations on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
All classes, campus activities, meetings, events, and other in-person operations are canceled for the day.
Faculty and staff who are able to do so are requested to work remotely. Employees should communicate with their immediate supervisors regarding work expectations.
Essential personnel whose duties require them to be on campus should report as directed by their supervisors. If you have questions regarding your work status, please contact your immediate supervisor.
We encourage everyone to continue monitoring local weather conditions, follow guidance from local emergency officials, and take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of your loved ones.
Please continue to monitor your Dillard email, the University website, and the University’s official social media channels for additional updates regarding campus operations.
The safety and well-being of our campus community remain our highest priority. We appreciate your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we navigate this weather event together.
Stay safe,
Dillard University Administration
