Dillard University Alumna, Chief Curl Officer Renee Rhoten Morris Presents $25,000 Endowed Scholarship

Dillard University alumna, Renee Rhoten Morris ‘93, along with her company, Uncle Funky’s Daughter, a haircare product line, have joined forces to make a substantial donation of $25,000 to the “Renee Rhoten and Milton Morris Endowed Scholarship” to support student success and empower the next generation of leaders.

Recognizing the importance of education and the potential it holds, Morris and Uncle Funky’s Daughter have made a transformational gift that will provide essential resources to students in need. This generous donation will help create scholarships, expand academic programs, and enhance student support services, ensuring that Dillard University remains at the forefront of educational excellence.

Morris, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., understands the significance of investing in the development of young minds. As an alumna of Dillard University, she has experienced firsthand the transformative power of education and wants to pay it forward.
