
Dillard University proudly celebrates the achievement of Harry Cass ‘04, a distinguished alumnus who was commissioned to create the exclusive 2025 Zulu Aid & Social Pleasure Club Commemorative Poster.
A dedicated artist, educator, entrepreneur, and community leader, Harry Cass has spent over 20 years shaping young minds as a teacher and mentor. A proud graduate of Dillard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts, Cass is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
As the CEO of H. Cass Art, Respect Art Studios, and the founder of the nonprofit Respect the Arts, Cass has devoted his life to empowering youth through art, nurturing creativity, and fostering artistic expression. His work, spanning realism to abstract, reflects his deep faith, family, and the resilience of his New Orleans roots.
Though retired from full-time teaching, Cass continues to impact the art world through murals, self-portraits, and mentorship. His artwork can be seen on the walls of universities, world-renowned restaurants, businesses, and major art exhibitions, including New Orleans Jazz Fest, Essence Festival, and Louis Armstrong International Airport.
His latest honor as the 2025 Zulu Poster Artist places him among an esteemed group of creatives who have contributed to this celebrated tradition. Cass’ mission remains clear:
