Dillard University is proud to announce that the remarkable talents of our student artists are on full display in the 2025 HBCU Art Showcase at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, running from May 24 through October 25, 2025.
Presented in partnership with The New Orleans Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, this annual exhibition began twelve years ago with a vision to celebrate and uplift student artists from Louisiana’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Since its inception, more than 125 student artists from the state’s five HBCUs have been featured. This year, we are thrilled to continue that legacy with contributions from students at Dillard University and Xavier University of Louisiana.
Housed in the Museum’s Education Gallery, the HBCU Art Showcase honors both the creativity of emerging artists and the powerful role of arts education in the Southern region.
We encourage the entire Dillard community and the public to visit the Ogden Museum and show support for our talented young artists who are shaping the cultural landscape of tomorrow through their creative vision and voice.
