Dillard’s Pre-Alumni Council Wins at Annual UNCF Conference

This past weekend, Dillard University’s Pre-Alumni Council (PAC) attended the 77th Annual United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Leadership Conference held in Jacksonville, Florida. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for our students to expand their knowledge and improve their leadership skills through various workshops. The PAC received recognition as the most improved PAC of the year, a testament to their dedication and commitment to personal growth under the guidance of PAC Advisor Nezrene James.

We are also proud to recognize the achievements of some of our outstanding students.

  • Cymoine Holmes ’25, a film major, placed first runner-up in the National Miss UNCF Pageant, showcasing her poise and remarkable talents on a national platform.
  • De’Andrew Thomas ’25, an English major, was awarded a $2,500 scholarship from FedEx, a testament to his academic excellence.
  • Darynaisha Crawford ’24, a Biology and Chemistry major, and Cierra McNeal ’25, a Health Science major, received $1,500 scholarships from Wells Fargo to recognize their dedication and aptitude in their respective majors.

Their achievements testify to their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and personal growth.

Our PAC’s success and our students’ accomplishments at the 77th UNCF Conference exemplify Dillard University’s commitment to excellence. We are proud of their achievements and confident they will continue to shine as they shape the future with their talents and leadership skills.
