Our celebration of Women’s History Month at Dillard continues with our “Essential” series. The series features women who are among the University’s essential employees.
Chief Angela Honora seems to take it all in stride even when the job throws her a tremendous curve ball. Only days after stepping into the role as the Dillard University Police Department’s leader, Honora found herself and the University bracing for Hurricane Laura and a stretch of others that followed including Hurricane Zeta which directly impacted the metropolitan area. Since the unusually active hurricane season, Dillard’s “top cop” has focused on connecting with the University community on a daily basis, especially the students. Regardless of what happens, Honora stays as cool as ever.
