Meet the Dillard University Recruitment, Admissions and Programming Team

In her role as Assistant Provost/Director of Recruitment, Admissions, and Programming, Monica White ’07 serves as a crucial support system for students during the enrollment process at Dillard University. White plays an integral role in the strategic growth of the university, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of higher education.

As a proud alumna of Dillard University, White is thrilled to serve in this new capacity, building upon her 16 years of professional growth. Witnessing the evolution of her alma mater has been one of the highlights of her career, allowing her to contribute in ways she never imagined.

With her extensive institutional knowledge, White becomes an effective steward and visionary for the constituents that Dillard University serves. Her experience and expertise make her an efficient decision-maker in her new role.

“Ms. White’s expertise and experience are superb. She has an innate knowledge of Dillard University and remains very active as an alumna. Her comprehensive understanding of recruitment and admissions, coupled with her exceptional management skills, make her one of the most capable and efficient leaders I have worked with. She creates an atmosphere of encouragement, dedication, and continuous learning with her talented team,” commends Mablene Krueger, Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.

“It is because of those who invested in me as a student worker years ago and saw potential in me that I did not see in myself, that I have become the woman and professional I am today. I am grateful to Dillard University for taking a chance on me then and allowing me to flourish and give back to other first-generation students year after year.”
