Important Information Regarding Financial Aid Awards:

This process is scheduled to become a requirement by the Federal Government, which borrowers must be completed each year in order for students to receive the Federal Direct Student Loans (Subsidized and Unsubsidized) and Parents to receive the Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS).
Financial Aid Awards are based on full-time enrollment.
Financial Aid awards will be adjusted (i.e., reduced) after the fee payment deadline based on regulatory policies for students enrolled less than full-time.
Student loan recipients must be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible (excluding audit hours). Federal Loans will be canceled for student enrolled in hours below half-time.
All enrolled courses must count toward your degree.
Scholarship awards require full-time enrollment. Recipients must refer to their scholarship agreement/conditions/requirements/rules/regulations and responsibilities regarding the eligibility and enrollment criteria (i.e., TOPS, Institutional Scholarship, Fee Exemption, Fee Waiver, Special Awards. Institutional Aid will be adjusted as a result of a student receiving additional scholarship or entitlement awards.
Federal Student Aid recipients who withdraw (officially/unofficially) from the University will be subject to Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations. Calculations will be performed on withdrawals during the entire semester; however, withdrawal dates up to the 60% point of the semester will be subject to funds being returned to the Government. Please review policy listed under the Consumer Information tab. Also, withdrawals can impact a student's ability to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Please review the SAP Policy and meet with a Financial Aid Counselor if you are considering not completing courses that you are registered/enrolled for the semester.
Class attendance and participation in academic related activity is mandatory in order to receive Financial Aid. Students who cease enrollment in class and receive a F or FA (Failure for non-attendance) will be subject to R2T4 and will have to refund money back to the Federal Government.
