Emergency Alerts

All students, faculty and staff register should register for the emergency alert notification system. Receiving text and email alerts will keep you informed with real time information about emergencies, weather events, incidents on campus and other events that may threaten the safety of the campus community.

For additional information pertaining to weather, emergencies and incidents in the surrounding Greater New Orleans, sign up for the City of New Orleans Emergency Notification System at NOLA Ready.

Staying alert via Dillard’s emergency alert system is quick and easy.

  • Enter your information.
  • You will receive a text message on your chosen cellular device with a 4-digit validation code.
  • Enter the code when requested.
  • Log in to add your email address and another number (if desired).
  • Write down username and password.
  • You can also sign up to receive updates via email only; just select “Email Alert Sign-up.”
  • Please note that you may incur a service charge for text messages depending on the type of service you have with your cellular provider. Dillard University is not responsible for any charges incurred.
