Evening Student Requirements

Dillard University admits applicants who possess high standards of scholarship, serious and realistic educational goals, potential for service and leadership, and the personal characteristics of honesty, loyalty and self-respect. The university does not make any distinction as to religion, race, or gender in the admission of its students. Evening Program applicants can either apply as a transfer or readmit student only.

The Evening Program at Dillard University has been designed to assist adult learners complete their journey within higher education. Whether you are almost to the finish line to graduation or just starting out, we have a place for you within the Dillard community. The time is NOW.

DILLARD UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

We accept the following application types:

  • Paper Application (Collected from College Fairs/College Visits or Walk-Ins Only)

Application Fee

Application fee of $40.00 via check or money order payable to Dillard University. Fee Waivers are accepted)-NACAC, College Board, Financial Hardship Letter, Free/Reduced Lunch Letter

GPA & Standardized Test Score Requirements:
Minimum 2.0GPA for the last regionally accredited institution attended.

Transfer applicants with less than 24 earned credit hours are required to also submit their high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores. Applicants for admission at least the age of 23 years of age are not required to submit ACT/SAT scores.

18 ACT composite score or 960 SAT (math and evidence based reading and writing).

Applicants Not Meeting Requirements

If an Evening Program applicant does not meet the above mentioned requirements, they must also submit a personal statement (3-5 paragraph essay outlining your future aspirations) for further consideration.

Deadlines:
While Dillard University has rolling admissions, we HIGHLY encourage all applicants to complete the application process by the priority deadlines mentioned below.

Program Cost

As a potential Evening Program student, you will be afforded a significant tuition discount. Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year isonly $3,474 plus fees per semester!
