The Beta Gamma Kappas Contribute $37,401 to Dillard University

The Beta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., contributed $37,401 to Dillard University on January 6, 2024. This substantial donation was made during the chapter’s third luncheon at the university since 2015, reflecting their ongoing commitment to the institution.

Jamal Grooms ‘83, representing the fraternity, stated, “We, as proud Dillard Graduates and committed Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Beta Gamma Chapter Alumni, deem it our fiduciary responsibility to promote, support and assist in the aims and purposes of D.U. We commenced giving as a unit in 2013 and initiated the Beta Gamma Endowment several years later. As a result, we have pledged to continue the giving campaigns, with a goal of enriching our beloved Alma Mater. The motivation is simple, ‘To help the institution that helped us.'”

Since 2013, the Beta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi has shown consistent support for Dillard University, highlighted by establishing the Beta Gamma Endowed Scholarship. To date, they have donated more than $100,000.Their recent donation reinforces this ongoing commitment to the university’s development and exemplifies the strong bond between the alumni and the institution.
