Grammy Award-Winning Artist and Author Michelle Williams Hosted a Conversation on Black Mental Health for a special event on November 11.

Former Destiny’s Child singer and mental health advocate Michelle Williams hosted a discussion on mental health in the Black community. The event, titled “Checking In: A Conversation on Black Mental Health,” took place on Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. 

Danielle Burton, LPC ’13 and member of NOLA Black Mental Health Matters, played a key role in leading the discussion. The organization expressed its enthusiasm on social media, stating, “The conversation with Michelle Williams was incredibly impactful!”
